Visiting Stacie and Andrew in Washougal, Washington

 We woke up early Monday morning to drive 10 hours to Washougal, Washington, where we spent a delightful week with Stacie, Andrew, Lydian, and Tristan.

We spent the night at a hotel in Cannon Beach. This cat joined us for breakfast the next morning, trying to warm itself by the fire.

Diana found some flowers to pick on the way up Beacon Rock.
Diana and I counted our steps all the way down to the bottom of the rock. We took approximately 2079 steps.

We spent the rest of the afternoon playing "Kick the Can" and other games with the neighborhood kids.

As you can tell, we were in Washington during the 2024 Paris Olympics.
