Penny's first soccer game

Penny had her first soccer game yesterday. She loved it.

Douglas the master pianist

Unbeknownst to Sam and me, Douglas took my old iPhone 6 one day (it's only used as a toy now - no internet) and recorded himself practicing his piano songs. Prepare to laugh.

This is now one of my all-time favorite videos. I shed a tear or two from laughing so hard. I love the ending. 👃😂

Making volcanoes

Maxwell (my nephew) was baptized earlier this month. Sam took the kids to attend the baptism.

Sam, Diana, Sara, Maxwell, Louise (Maxwell's paternal grandmother), and Marcia (my mom - Maxwell's maternal grandmother).

Sam has been preparing the children for the past couple of months to host a small French-themed gathering for some of our neighbors. We held the soiree in our garage yesterday just before a big thunderstorm hit our area. The children introduced themselves in French at various times during the get-together and everyone enjoyed French-style treats, photos, a country fact quiz, etc. We had a tres bon time.
