This afternoon, Douglas and Penny participated in our ward's Raingutter Regatta. Douglas named his boat "Titanic II" and Penny named her boat "Tomato" (all red).

The competition was double-elimination. Penny lost twice in a row, but they were narrow losses!
Douglas didn't lose. He won five times in a row to win the regatta. He said he watched a Youtube video where he learned some tips for smoother sailing. He can also thank his Mother for a nice paint job, which no doubt helped his boat cruise through the water.

Each participant received a certificate. Penny got the "Most Courteous Scout" certificate. 😁
I plan on purchasing one of those Raingutter Regatta tubes for future family reunions. Good times!
