We drove to Granny's house to spend New Year's Eve there. Along the way, we stopped at the Church's "Giving Machines" to purchase some things for people in need around the world.
Sledding at Rock Canyon Park - Denali, Sam, Diana, Maxwell, Penny, Gideon, Douglas. As usual, in order to get the kids to smile for the picture, I told them not to smile at the camera. Maxwell and Gideon took my instructions literally. :)

I've never seen as many people at Rock Canyon Park as I saw on New Year's Eve.
Playing games downstairs at Granny's house.
Maxwell and Douglas playing Mille Bournes.
Getting ready to play Rook. Sara was a wee bit cold.
Playing Rook - Daniel, Joseph, Dad (Grandpa), Sam, Ari
Back at our house, the kids put all the balls into a box in order to dump them on me.
I saw Douglas pulling himself forwards and backwards next to the humidifier yesterday. As I walked past the kitchen he said, "I need some humility." He meant to say "humidity." I burst out laughing and went to get my phone to try to recreate the scene. I explained that while we all certainly need some humility, in this particular case humility wouldn't do much for Douglas's skin or breathing. 😁
