Toronto

 Last Saturday we drove up to the Brigham City Temple where Kate received her endowment in preparation to serve a mission to Florida.  Douglas didn't like the sun in his eyes, so he borrowed my hat and remained as you see him in the photo for most of the drive.  He was not asleep.

 While Mom and Dad Coombs, Stacie, Sam, and Taylor joined Kate in the temple, I took Doogles to a nearby park.  The train station employees allowed us to get close to one of the big trains.  Douglas loved that.

 After the temple session.  As Doogles and I were approaching the temple he became very excited when he saw Grandma Coombs.  I wish I had his reaction on video.

Sunday was Father's Day.  I received the above card from Douglas.  I don't worry about him, and I don't care about money..........but that third section.  :)

On Tuesday we left the little man with Grandma and we flew to Toronto (only a three-hour, direct flight) to explore for a couple of days.  I had booked a compact car from Hertz.  They didn't have any compact cars, so we took the Swagger Wagon for the same price.  I love minivans.

 First stop:  the Toronto Temple (of course).  Checked another one off the list.

 Yesterday morning we began the day visiting a different kind of temple.  We toured the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Hindu Temple.

 Lizzie, this will be my profile name if I ever join Facebook again.

 The Blue Jays played (and beat) the Arizona Diamondbacks shortly after we wandered through the downtown area.

 The CN Tower - tallest tower in the western hemisphere.

 Look at the sticker next to the bike helmet.  Funny.

 This is very similar to the Eastern Market in the DC area.

Taking a moment to find my inner zen.

 Last night we ate Wendy's hamburgers and frosties, and we played 18 holes of glow-in-the-dark miniature golf.

Now we head back to the airport to return home.  Short trip, but it was fun.  Great weather, too!  The high temperature for these two days was around 75 degrees.
