We continue looking for fun parks to visit in our area. Sam found this one. We call it the baseball park.
What? Did I do something wrong?
Sam was told that she might lose her hair at the spot where she received radiation. Well, it took over a month, but it finally happened. Fortunately, her other hairs cover the spot and the hair should grow back over time.
The girls like stickers.
Diana's stance when she's about to take off running.
Coloring "Crowns of Righteousness" for scriptures one morning.
Racing at Station Park
Douglas loves building various things using k'nex.
Watch Penny (on the far side) toward the end of the video. This is a common occurrence.
Sam found this cool park in Ogden - the High Adventure Park. It has some things I've never seen before at a park.
At this point in my life, this is as close as I'll get to real skateboarding.
The High Adventure Park is right next to this river. The kids loved throwing rocks into the water.
Douglas had his first ice-skating experience this week. He loved it!
Another video from the High Adventure Park in Ogden
Hanging out on the driveway with Diana and Penny. Penny took this picture for me.
We made this video for Ari, who had a birthday on the 16th.
And we made this one for Dan Urbina, who has a birthday tomorrow, March 18th.
Diana knows how to relax while she takes a sip of water.
Douglas has been doing a lot of reading lately. He gets a prize each time he makes it to a certain number of minutes reading. Recently he opted to go bowling for one of his prizes. Grandma and Sam took the children to the bowling alley.
This is what Penny and Diana did while they waited for their turn to bowl.
Grandma with the children.
Sometime during the week before we went to Arizona Sam mentioned to Diana that we were going to get some vitamin D in Arizona. Diana immediately ran to room and pulled up her shirt to get some vitamin D in the sunlight coming through the window. Douglas and Penny followed.
We stopped at a hotel in Las Vegas on our way to Arizona. Here is Diana eating breakfast the next morning.
Playing at a park with some of Sam's cousins and their children.
Diana goes down the bumpy slide.
Holding baby Reed, the newest addition to the Seth and McCall family.
Diana and Charly eating toast.
I took Diana and Douglas to watch their cousin, Krew, play basketball. Diana fell asleep on the way.
She woke up during the basketball game.

The children spent a lot of time playing games and playing with K'NEX and other toys.
Playing Uno Flip with Diana and Charly. Baby Reed sits in the background.

Sam took some of the children to a nearby park one afternoon.

Diana and Charly plugging their ears while Sam put more air into the air mattress.
Charly: "We're making crepes!"
Charly: "Can I stick this in the eggs?"
This is my "I don't care anymore" look after Charly dumped the milk multiple times without following my instructions. 😀 The crepes turned out fine.
Jarren loves his biscuits.
Douglas showing off the tools he made out of K'NEX.
Krew and Jarren showing some brotherly love.
Watching a little show.
Playing at the nearby "Rocket Ship Park."
Jarren coming down the slide. The children loved this slide. They went down dozens of times.
Penny was terrified to go down alone at first, but she quickly overcame her fears and absolutely loved the slide.
Diana had no problem going down by herself, but we had to catch her at the bottom to keep her from flying off the end of the slide.
Krew made Diana laugh by pretending that she was knocking him down over and over.
Dinnertime. Despite having a separate, smaller table for the children, they somehow always ended up at the table for the adults and we adults often found ourselves eating at the counter. The kids sure had a great time with each other.
Diana saying hello to baby Reed.
And telling Reed about the PAW Patrol characters.
Off to another park we went. Here we have Diana and Jarren surfing while Charly and I rocked them back and forth.
We finished off our trip playing at McCormick Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale.
With Charly on the merry-go-round.
McCall and Jarren on the merry-go-round.
Baby Reed
Diana thought it was funny to close her eyes on the swing.
Oh, what fun we had. Thank you, McCall, Seth and family for being wonderful hosts once again!
On our way back to Utah today we stopped for a potty break in a small town in Nevada just before crossing the border into Utah, and I had an experience I've never had before. I played a video game while urinating at a gas station.
I only made it to the rank of Corporal before my ammunition ran out. 😀
We are spending the night in our favorite little hotel in Cedar City before completing our journey tomorrow. This afternoon we played in the indoor pool and hot tub.
I took the children to the hotel gym tonight to run a little more energy out of them before bedtime.
