Halloween

Diana rode the train with Grandma at the Fall Festival. Jori and Harrison are sitting toward the front.
More Fall Festival photos. Spencer and Schofield at the front of their train car.

Douglas on the climbing wall.
Penny, Diana, Sam, and Douglas. Diana was having one of her moments.

That's better! Sharing her smile.
Abbie, Peter, Griffin, Aunt Michelle, and Hadley.
Penny wasn't sure about the horse ride.
In the next few years we will have a new temple near our home. Families within the Layton Utah Temple district were given a neat opportunity this month (October). We were told that we could put our names, favorite scriptures, or testimonies on small rocks and the rocks will be put into the cement being used to build the temple. Sam and the children put our names on some rocks and dropped them off at the visitors center on the temple construction site.
The rocks are complete!

Sam made a cool jellyfish costume for Douglas.

Someone was walking up to our house when we were taking this photo. That's the explanation for Penny's face.
Douglas the Jellyfish, Penny the Shark, and Diana the Narwhal.
We dressed Diana up for the photos, but we kept her inside during the trick-or-treating. She was sick. However, it was one of the warmest Halloweens I can remember. Beautiful evening.

Popcorn, butter, harmonica, jellyfish, Station Park

"Don't mind me. I'm just standing here eating popcorn."

Douglas's tongue is ready to inspect this strange white object before it enters his mouth. :) He actually likes popcorn, but here he is inspecting each kernel to make sure it is fully popped.
Watching Wild Kratts downstairs.
"It's on my finger!"
Diana sometimes asks for toast with butter, or a pancake with butter on it. What she really wants is the butter.
Butter monster!

Sam is great with children. She's always coming up with cool activities to keep their minds and hands busy. The girl on the right is our neighbor's daughter, Madison. They are making jellyfish.

This is one of my favorite videos of Diana's laugh.

Picking the Perfect Pumpkin at the Paradise Pumpkin Patch

Grandma, Penny, Diana, Clayton, Kate, and Douglas at the pumpkin patch.
Grandma and Grandpa Coombs pulling Diana in the wagon.
"I can do this."
"I wonder if this is what it feels like to be nine months pregnant."
"Come on, Douglas, you can do this!"
"One, two, three, lift!"
"Yep, I'm takin' this one home."
Cute little pumpkin.

"See, I told you I'm not going to smile."
"I'll smile for you, mom, because I'm your perfect, first-born child."
"I'll smile, too, because I have the cutest dimples in the world."
"Fine, I'll give you a smile."
"And now I'm getting out of here!" (accompanied by a raptor screech)
"Wait, don't go yet! I found another one."
