Nate comes home and Kate gets married

Nate (Sam's brother, pictured in suit) came home on the 29th of April. He served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Minnesota. Pictured left-to-right: Doug (Sam's father), Sam, Douglas, Nate, Margaret (Sam's mother), Diana, Penny
 Watching videos on Grandma's phone.
Two days later, on May 1st, Kate (Sam's sister) was married to Clayton in Paradise, Utah. It was a paradisiacal day. Beautiful weather, beautiful couple, and a beautiful ceremony.

Hello, summer.

Bring on the warm weather! Good riddance, winter!

Douglas, Penny, and Diana on a warm Sunday afternoon.

 "Dad, it's on my finger."
"I'll just wipe it right here."
 "Nevermind."
 "Okay, back at it!"
 "The entire thing dropped!"
 "No worries. I got it."
"Mmmm, with a slight taste of tree petals this time."

Happy Easter

Penny likes to pull herself very close to the table.
Watching General Conference last weekend. Douglas built a new LEGO set.

Sam took the kids to a secluded trail near our home.
Diana loves being outside.

A friend made aprons for the children. They colored their aprons in preparation for painting eggs.

Kate and Clayton came over this week to build peep houses with Douglas and Penny.
Ready for an Easter egg hunt.

Most of the Easter eggs were filled with LEGO pieces for Douglas and Penny.
Sam gave a short spiritual lesson each morning throughout Easter week. Here the children are holding their palm branches from Palm Sunday.
